Electrolux appliance repair across the island
Electrolux's 2007 gas range guide welcomed buyers to "the new premium brand in home appliances". Most Electrolux guides we cite are older ones, from 2007 to 2018, so this page notes which generation a detail describes.
Electrolux built more than Electrolux
CPSC records list Electrolux as the maker or recalling firm for Frigidaire products and for Kenmore ranges and wall ovens. One example is the Kenmore PRO gas range 790.79613800, recalled in 2009 beside the Electrolux ICON. So an Electrolux fault can share its parts and its history with a range wearing another name. Electrolux-brand guides name Electrolux Home Products, Inc. as the company, the same parent the Frigidaire guides print. Tell us the badge, then the model number. The number does more of the work.

Element on after a spill

Plastic in the ice
An ERMC2295AS French door may have the recalled ice level arm. The label is inside the fresh food section.
Glass controls dead
Wave-Touch on ranges and IQ-Touch on older washers are touch panels; a dead one needs power and board tests.
Dryer tumbles cold
An electric dryer feeds its motor and heater from separate breaker legs. One tripped leg leaves the drum turning without heat.
Fridge sweating outside
Small heaters around the doors keep the cabinet dry. If an energy saver setting switches them off, leave it off in humid weather; see Electrolux refrigerator repair.
What will the Electrolux warranty leave out?
Commercial use, rust, a serial number removed or unreadable, and any product moved outside the USA or Canada, according to the Electrolux guides. The U.S. warrantor is Electrolux Major Appliances North America; the 2007 wall oven guide even stretched coverage to Puerto Rico. Two of those exclusions matter on Oahu. A washer or range in a vacation rental may count as commercial use, so ask before relying on it. And rust from salt air near the coast is on you.
