Drum turns after the end
Wrinkle Guard tumbles the load on and off for up to 90 minutes after the cycle. Normal.
Elite gas dryer stays hot
A 796 Elite gas dryer that keeps heating after the cycle may carry the recalled gas valve. Check the label first.
Laundry center overheats
24 inch 110 series combos with serials starting MM, ML or MK were recalled for a gas dryer that could overheat.
Loads come out damp
Moisture sensors end Kenmore sensor cycles. A load that stops early and wet points to the sensor or airflow.
Dishwasher will not drain
A 665 prefix points to Whirlpool as the maker, which narrows the parts search. The drain checks come first.
No steam option
Only the Accela Steam front-load models make steam. A top-control sensor dryer never had it.

What the Kenmore dryer warranty asks of you
A receipt. The one-year warranty from the date of sale covers defects in material or workmanship, but a claim needs the original receipt from a Kenmore (Transformco) retailer. Use the dryer for anything other than a private household and the term drops to 90 days. The warrantor today is Transform SR Brands Management LLC, of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. For recalls, Kenmore's own page sends owners to recalls.gov, which six federal agencies run. Have the full model number ready either way.
