Does Kenmore cover a dishwasher tub that rusts through?
Yes, for a dishwasher bought on February 4, 2018 or later. Kenmore covers a stainless tub or inner door panel that leaks from rust-through for as long as the machine is in use. In year one the part goes in at no charge; after that Kenmore supplies the part and you pay the labor. Everything else has one year, and only 90 days if the dishwasher serves anything but a private household. Kenmore also refuses damage caused by detergents or cleaners its instructions do not recommend.
